Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of funds, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Applying current accounting standards and best‑practice principles to the accounts production process
- Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures
- Attending client and board meetings to present and discuss accounting matters
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to agree on timetables for accounts production
- Providing guidance and support to administration teams regarding capital calls, distributions, and investor queries
Candidate Criteria:
- ACA or ACCA qualification, or being near‑qualified
- Excellent technical knowledge of the accounting requirements of closed-ended private equity funds
- Strong accounting proficiency with advanced Excel/IT skills
- Confident presentation abilities, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills
