Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of funds, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Applying current accounting standards and best‑practice principles to the accounts production process
• Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures
• Attending client and board meetings to present and discuss accounting matters
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to agree on timetables for accounts production
• Providing guidance and support to administration teams regarding capital calls, distributions, and investor queries

Candidate Criteria:

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or being near‑qualified
• Excellent technical knowledge of the accounting requirements of closed-ended private equity funds
• Strong accounting proficiency with advanced Excel/IT skills
• Confident presentation abilities, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills
