Fund Accountant
Do you have a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, ready to hit the ground running? Our client is seeking a Fund Accountant to provide timely accounting services to fund and private equity clients while supporting business growth and client service.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing accounting for a portfolio of private equity funds, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, financial statements, and investor accounts
- Calculating management and performance fees
- Coordinating audit processes for companies and fund structures
- Guiding on accounting issues and best practices to the team and clients
- Supporting the training and development of junior staff
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining daily timesheet updates
Key criteria:
- 2-3 years' accounting experience in offshore/private equity fund accounting
- Recognised accounting qualification; knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
