Senior/Fund Accountant

Do you have a minimum of 2-3 years of fund accounting experience, ready to hit the ground running? An independent fund business on the outskirts of town is seeking a Senior/Fund Accountant to provide timely accounting services to fund and private equity clients, while supporting business growth and client service.  Progression is on offer.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing accounting for a portfolio of private equity funds, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, financial statements, and investor accounts
• Calculating management and performance fees
• Coordinating audit processes for companies and fund structures
• Guiding on accounting issues and best practices to the team and clients
• Supporting the training and development of junior staff
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining daily timesheet updates

Key criteria:

• 2-3+ years' accounting experience in offshore/private equity fund accounting
• Recognised accounting qualification; knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
