Financial Accountant

Looking for a convenient out-of-town role with on-site parking? This could be the perfect opportunity! Our client is seeking a versatile Financial Accountant to support the Finance Officer in maintaining accurate financial and management accounts.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of financial accounting
• Authorising bank payments
• Assisting with monthly accounts and annual financial statements
• Maintaining the general ledger and performing regular balance sheet reconciliations
• Strengthening internal controls and improving systems
• Supporting trainee accountants
• Coordinating internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Relevant degree and an accounting qualification, ACCA/ACA (or part-qualified)
• Strong supervisory experience, problem-solving ability, and IT skills, including proficiency in accounting software
• Ideally, previous commercial Sector accounting experience however not essential
