Facilities Technical Engineer

Ready to take charge of critical infrastructure and make a real impact? We’re seeking a proactive, hands-on Facilities Technical Engineer to help keep our client's environments running at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and monitoring critical power and cooling systems.
• Conducting daily walkarounds to ensure performance and compliance.
• Managing alarms, fire suppression, and contractor activities.
• Performing basic repairs and coordinating third-party maintenance.
• Running generator tests, tracking power usage, and managing ticketing systems.
• Upholding safety, security, and compliance across all sites.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Background in critical environments and power distribution.
• Solid understanding of fire/security systems and data centre operations.
• Self-sufficient and confident in managing workloads independently.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to join a standby rota.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet short-term goals.

Desirable:

• Qualifications in critical power or air conditioning systems.
• Familiarity with UPS, BMS, VESDA, FM200, and generators.
• Experience with Permit to Work systems and financial awareness.
