Senior Manager

Are you experienced in compliance, regulatory finance, or professional services? Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to ensure compliance with Guernsey regulations, safeguarding the Group’s reputation.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the development of the Business Risk Assessment and related risk management assessments
• Acting as Deputy MLRO, supporting and reporting suspicious activity investigations in the MLRO’s absence
• Maintaining strong knowledge of Guernsey regulations, with emphasis on the GFSC Handbook and its impact on the business
• Ensuring compliance with procedures and Guernsey AML/CFT regulations, particularly regarding suspicious activity reporting, client due diligence, and record keeping
• Acting as a resource for escalated compliance queries

Key criteria:

• Previous compliance experience, ideally at Manager or Senior Manager level (or equivalent)
• Preferably held MLCO role
• Proven organisational and supervisory skills
• Qualified by experience in compliance, legal, or advisory services
• Strong technical IT skills required
