Shop Manager

Friends of Citizen Advice Charity shop is seeking a Shop Manager to run their Guernsey branch. The role is 30 hours a week (6 hours a day 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday).

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the shop
  • Ensuring the shop is staffed adequately 
  • Recruiting volunteer staff and training and managing staff
  • Maximising sales and ensuring the shop is running effectively
  • Maintaining a social media presence
  • Ensuring effective stock management 
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are kept too
  • Reporting to the Board
