Legal Secretary

This well established law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary, to work as part of a team of secretaries providing support to a group of designated fee earners.

Key duties:

  • Checking and proof reading documents
  • Assisting in the creating of new clients / matters on Document Management system
  • Copy typing, Audio typing from tape and electronic files
  • Typing of all correspondence
  • Answering telephone and email messages
  • Assisting with conflict checks
  • Creating and amending diary appointments
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Organising travel arrangements

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, have the ability to type quickly, and accurately and educated to A-Level standard or equivalent. They will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint to create presentations as required and good written and verbal communications skills.
