Animal Care Manager

Do you have strong leadership & HR experience to support the GSPCA as Animal Care Manager and act as a deputy to the Manager in their absence, helping ensure the organisation operates in line with its goals and values?

The position involves assisting across various operational areas of the shelter, such as Health & Safety, administration, HR, training, fundraising, and animal welfare.

A key responsibility is managing the animal shelter team, including staff, volunteers, and placements. This includes overseeing recruitment, training, rota planning, and ensuring 24-hour staffing coverage.

Strong team management and HR experience are essential, while an interest in animal welfare is beneficial but not required.
