People Manager

Can you lead HR operations, guide managers, and drive a positive, high‑performance culture?  A large commercial business is seeking a People Manager to join the management team and oversee all aspects of the People function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle
  • Providing employment law and HR policy guidance
  • Coordinating payroll data, benefits, and reporting
  • Supporting learning, development, and performance processes
  • Maintaining HR systems, records, and MI
  • Driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives

About You:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5+ years HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of Guernsey employment and population management law
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently
