HR Manager
Are you confident in supporting people, resolving challenges, and helping shape a positive workplace? A progressive professional services organisation is seeking a Human Capital Manager to lead employee relations, wellbeing, absence, and people policy strategy across Guernsey or Jersey, with occasional travel between islands.
Key Role:
- Leading ER processes and advising on policy with clarity and sound judgement.
- Developing modern, compliant people policies that support a forward‑thinking culture.
- Creating wellbeing initiatives that boost employee health and balance.
- Managing sickness, parental leave, extended leave, and flexible working.
- Coaching managers to enhance people‑leadership capability.
- Collaborating across HR teams to deliver smooth, effective people solutions.
Key Criteria:
- Strong background in ER and the full employee lifecycle.
- Good understanding of local employment legislation.
- Experience supporting wellbeing initiatives.
- Confident using HR systems for process improvement and reporting.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
- Coaching, leadership development, or policy experience (desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities professionally and discreetly.
