Maintenance Worker

This growing organisation on the outskirts of town is seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Maintenance:
  • Small works such as internal and external decoration, external paving, and other jobs such as attending minor fixes, solving issues with doors/windows/walls and installing shelving.
• Improvements and Repairs:
  • Basic plumbing/sanitary fittings, concreting, re-installing doors/windows, general refurbishment and rendering and plastering.
• Wider Responsibilities:
  • May be required to carry out routine tasks, including weekly or monthly Legionella checks and tests.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Key criteria:

• Must have a D1 Driving Licence.
• Willingness to undertake training in Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Fire Safety, and Fire Marshal duties is essential.
• Have general knowlege and experience in repair and building works, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, heating and ventilation timers, air conditioning controls and fire alarm systems.
• Maintaining a positive, helpful attitude with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of tact, dedication, and responsibility when performing maintenance duties.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
