When it comes to that all-important interview for your dream job, it can be a nerve-wracking time. The better prepared you are, the more confident you’ll feel and the more positive the experience will be.
The first step in your job search is to prepare that all important CV (curriculum vitae). Your CV is a record of your education, employment, qualifications, skills and experience. It shows an employer whether you’re capable of doing their job, so preparing a comprehensive CV is vital.
The old “3 page” rule that your CV shouldn’t be longer than 3 pages doesn’t necessarily stand. As long as your CV isn’t overly long, the more information you can provide the better, particularly when listing your duties in your current job or most relevant past experience.
