Lending Associate

Do you have lending experience? A large independent financial services group is seeking a Lending Associate to join their team.

Key responsibilities: 

• Liaising daily with clients and their client advisors 
• Analysing credit risk
• Reviewing lending inquiries and structuring and negotiating loan structures 
• Liaising with banking administration, professional advisors, and lawyers to draft documentation and set up new facilities 
• Carrying out reviews 
• Monitoring loan facilities and managing change to facilities

For this role, experience of working in private client lending and a good understanding of the market is required, whilst a relevant qualification (CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice or CeMAP) would be ideal. If the candidate is not qualified, it would be expected that you will obtain this qualification within 12 months of starting. In addition, excellent interpersonal skills are required to communicate with a wide range of parties, along with a high attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
