Network Controller

Do you have an engineering qualification and experience in the energy industry? A growing commercial business is seeking a Network Controller to join their team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring safe control of operations
• Undertaking conflict management  of procedures that can affect network safety
• Ensuring contingency plans are suitable 
• Maintaining registers of personnel and validating the competency of staff
• Ensuring accurate records are kept of operations 
• Supporting the asset team by evaluating opportunities to accelerate risk reduction strategies, growth and rationalisation
• Undertaking modelling of proposed changes to the network 
• Ensuring a wide range of records are kept 
• Managing a small team of staff 

Ideally, you will be a chartered or incorporated engineer, or have a degree in engineering, along with 5 years experience in the gas industry. In addition, experience in operations or asset management is essential, and understanding UK Gas safety management regulations.
