Senior IT Technician

Are you a tech-savvy individual looking for your next amazing role? A forward-thinking technology services provider is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join its Service Delivery team in Guernsey, working across a hybrid office and site-based environment.

In this Senior Technician role, you will deliver high-quality 2nd line support, take ownership of complex technical issues, and act as a key escalation point for the wider team. You’ll ensure tickets are progressed efficiently in line with service standards, maintain clear communication with clients, and contribute to continuous improvement and team development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Resolving complex Level 2 support issues and overseeing ticket progression
  • Acting as an escalation point, supporting and guiding junior technicians
  • Maintaining clear, consistent communication with clients
  • Identifying risks and escalating where necessary
  • Contributing to documentation, team objectives, and service improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, cloud-based platforms, and Windows 11
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Full Category B driving licence
