At Situations Recruitment, we love to help out by volunteering for local charities when we can. As a team full of animal lovers, the GSPCA is a charity close to our hearts! This meant that we split our team into 2 and volunteered at the GCPA for 2 mornings.
Team 1 - Painted the inside of their Chapel of Rest. This Chapel is used for families when they have to say a final goodbye to their beloved pet, so we put all our efforts in to ensure the chapel was nicely painted with 2 coats and gloss work. We were also lucky enough to get to see some of the animals after we finished the job! It was a lovely morning and we were so glad we could help the GSPCA out.
Team 2 - The other half of our staff helped out with gardening in their memorial garden. The team worked hard to make the garden tidy and nicely presented. As you can see from the photo below, they did a great job!
