Here at Situations, Corporate Social Responsibility is very important to us, and more so we love providing careers advice and tips to the future workforce of Guernsey. Over the last year our Consultants Gemma and Amy have had the pleasure of attending various secondary schools around Guernsey to talk to students in various formats from giving class presentations, one-to-one training and attending a Careers Fair.
Gemma explained: “Over the past few months, we have been visiting a variety of schools on the island to help assist the students who will soon be joining the world of work in any way we can, from C.V. reviews to interview preparation and a general overview of the finance industry and its variety of sectors, so that the future workforce can make an informed decision of what they want to do when they leave full time education. We offer support in every aspect of the transition from school to work and help to prepare Guernsey’s students for this exciting new step in their life.”
