The latest UK Report on Jobs states:
- Permanent placements growth accelerates to fastest since last July.
- Stronger rise in permanent placements contrasts with softer temp billings growth.
- Starting salary inflation hits 31-month record.
- Growth of demand for staff remains marked.
The Guernsey jobs market is showing a similar picture to the above UK pattern, being very buoyant locally at present. We’ve seen significant growth in both permanent and temp Guernsey vacancies since the turn of the year and plenty of movement in local employment.
