Underwriter

We are seeking an Underwriter to support profitable growth by servicing new and existing business, assessing risks, and negotiating policy terms within agreed limits while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining compliance. The role involves working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, building strong relationships, and contributing to performance targets and continuous improvement.

Key Criteria:

• Underwriting/insurance experience or strong admin/customer service background with willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to assess risk and make sound decisions
• Strong organisation and time management
• Team-focused and professional approach
• GCSEs in Maths and English (A–C) or equivalent
• Insurance qualifications (or working towards) are desirable
