Finance Officer
Are you confident in your understanding of basic accounting principles and looking to advance your career in a respected legal environment? A well-established local law firm is seeking a Finance Officer to join its dedicated Finance team.
In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Operations Manager and fellow Finance Officers to ensure the smooth running of financial operations. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate records, supporting internal processes, and delivering a consistently high standard of service to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and recording supplier invoices with accuracy
- Reconciling multi-currency transactions
- Managing and resolving routine financial queries
- Preparing and maintaining cash flow reports
- Administering client funds in accordance with regulatory standards
Key Criteria:
- Sound understanding of basic accounting practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of managing and prioritising a large workload effectively
