Business Planning Officer
Are you a proactive, great communicator with intermediate to advanced IT skills? Our client is seeking a Business Planning Officer to support the Head of Business Planning in preparing and delivering reports across the organisation for 3-6 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring of both change and daily activities of portfolios, as well as the reporting function and its processes.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date portfolio management processes, ensuring all changes are communicated and approved.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data is provided for reporting and informed decision-making.
- Coordinating project teams and contractor resources, ensuring effective deployment and management of travel and expenses.
- Ensuring compliance with local legislation, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, and Data Protection regulations.
Key Criteria:
- PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner or equivalent is desirable; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports and accurately take minutes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and experience in MS Project or similar would be an advantage.
- Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled in collecting, processing, and reporting accurate data.
