AML Review Manager

A provider of wealth management services is seeking an AML Review Manager to manage a team focused on high-quality AML file reviews. In this role, you'll work closely with both compliance and operations teams to ensure AML/CFT standards are met and that due diligence frameworks remain effective and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading, training, and supporting a small team, ensuring work aligns with all regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Continuously enhance review procedures and identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Overseeing and reviewing customer onboarding processes, identifying and assessing risk levels, and addressing any concerns.
• Identifying and escalating regulatory or data inconsistencies as required.
• Provide support and oversight for regular review cycles and team training.
• Contribute to the implementation and testing of new AML tools and risk assessment features.

Key Criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the finance industry.
• A relevant business studies qualification (or equivalent).
• In-depth understanding of AML/CFT legislation, risk frameworks, and compliance practices.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, and managing a high-performing team.
• Comfortable working independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
