Director
A leading and highly respected insurance firm is seeking an accomplished Senior Insurance Specialist to step into a strategic leadership role as Director. In this position, you will lead the Client Services team and join both the Captive Management division and the Board of Directors. As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner with the Managing Director to drive strategic objectives, operational excellence, and team development within a well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic direction to the client services team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Leading succession planning and workforce development to support long-term business goals.
- Identifying training needs, supporting team development, and performance.
- Monitoring industry trends to uncover opportunities for expansion with new and existing clients.
- Overseeing fee negotiations and client discussions aligned with corporate strategy.
- Collaborating with the Board and Managing Director on shaping business strategy and service delivery.
Key Criteria:
- ACII qualified (or equivalent); additional credentials in insurance, governance, or business are advantageous.
- Broad technical knowledge across insurance products, including accounting, tax, and legal considerations.
- Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a track record of building and inspiring high-performing teams.
