Payable Finance Clerk

Our client is looking for a versatile Payable Finance Clerk to assist the Payable Finance Officer in maintaining accurate financial and management accounting records.
Key responsibilities include preparing and processing payments and invoices, reconciling month-end statements, and handling claims processing. You will be monitoring credit controls, whilst resolving any purchase order issues. The successful candidate will also require strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and department managers and assist the Senior Finance team with general support at certain times.
The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with a strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting and questioning systems data to uncover insights. Previous experience in credit control and managing payables ledgers is essential, along with proficiency in SAGE or a similar accounting system. A proactive and solutions-focused attitude is key to succeeding in this role.
