Private Client Director, Trust

Our client is looking to recruit someone with a c.10 years' trust and company experience to join their busy team as a Private Client Director, reporting to a Team Leader. The Private Client Director will proactively forge and enhance relationships with the most valued clients, and will be an ambassador within Fiduciary and across the wider business. 

Key duties:

  • Actively develop and maintain relationships with demanding, complex and/or ultra-high net worth clients, intermediaries and internal contacts in order to provide a quality service and provide best possible client offering and maximise returns 
  • Promote the highest quality of trust and company administration in order to minimise business risk and to encourage a culture of compliance with policies, appropriate risk management, and the principle of treating customers fairly
  • Act as a technician and expert point of reference for the team and to support the development of team members
  • Conduct appraisal interviews and agree personal development plans
  • Conduct interviews and recruitment of personnel
  • Attend client meetings as required and maintain full, accurate files/notes of all meetings/calls/conversations

The ideal candidate will meet principle person requirements of local trust company regulator and be a Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries & Administrators or Diploma in Offshore Finance & Administration (pre-professional) or hold one of the following qualifications:

  • STEP Diploma in International Trust Management
  • Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers
  • Trustee Diploma
  • Diploma in Trust and Estate Practice
