IT Helpdesk/Network Administrator

A specialist provider of offshore trust and company services to clients world-wide is looking to recruit an IT Helpdesk/Network Administrator to report directly to the IT Manager. 

The role holder will work closely with the local and regional IT teams and business users to provide 1st line support (in office and remotely) to the user base. On a day to day basis, the role holder will provide hardware and software support such as administering the Guernsey server and Network infrastructure, managing user accounts, managing desktop security, troubleshooting user issues, managing the IT Service Desk and supporting daily business processes. 

The desirable candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and attributions:

  • Windows Desktop O/S (Windows 7 and 10)
  • Desktop Deployment (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)
  • Windows Server (2012/2016)
  • Microsoft Office (2013 and up)
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Strong Network Troubleshooting/Configuration skills
  • Antivirus Management (Sophos/McAfee)
  • SAN (HP Store Virtual/Left hand San)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and soft skills
  • Good Problem Solving
  • Self-motivated and organised
